Wildlife Weekend

We’re holding a Wildlife Weekend on July 27 and 28 from 10am until 4pm to give anyone interested in nature the chance to learn more.


Representatives from Exmoor Zoo will be here to talk to people about wildlife and Greenway Falconry will also be visiting us with some birds of prey for customers to see.

We are hoping to raise awareness of bees throughout the weekend and there will be a variety of free activities for children to take part in such as creating a Mason Bee roost in a flower pot, which can be planted with wildflower seeds.

Traders from the area will also be here selling their bee-related products, such as honey, wax and candles.

Members of the Repti-Quest team will be bringing along some reptiles including corn snakes, bearded dragons and a 14 feet Burmese Python for people to meet and handle if they dare.
