Autumn is already upon us and it is the perfect time to get out in the garden and plant bulbs for spring flowering.

Traditional Planting Month – September
We’re declaring September Traditional Planting Month. Autumn is a great time to plant many shrubs, trees and fruit bushes as the soil is still warm and moist. Therefore plants can establish ready for next year, before the winter sets in. Pop in for free expert advice, promotions and competitions throughout the month.

Heathers, Evergreens & Conifers Weekend – September 14th and 15th
Learn how to plant heathers, evergreens and conifers to create interest in your garden throughout autumn and winter. Heathers and conifers require very little maintenance so are great for gardeners who don’t have much time to spend working in their gardens. Consider evergreen shrubs for colour throughout the year.

Bulb Weekend – September 21st and 22nd
Our in-house experts will be able to give visitors handy advice about planting bulbs and answer any questions people may have. There will be lots of new varieties to choose from, as well as exclusive new bulbs in stock.

Autumn Open Week – September 23rd until 27th
Our Open Week follows on from the Bulb Weekend with many offers in-store. Don’t miss our new range of extra value bulb packs. They’re a bargain at £3.99 each or buy three packs for £10.

Winter Bedding Weekend – September 28th and 29th
Our bedding plant team will show you how to colour your garden and patios during the colder months. They will be giving tips on which bulbs, plants, compost and containers to use to achieve maximum effect.
