Meet Secret World and handle a pet

Representatives from Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre will be here on Saturday, September 28th during normal garden centre opening hours.

They will be offering advice and information to people who come along to the garden centre.

Visitors will be able to meet some of the animals the centre has rescued and learn how they can protect the wildlife they find in their own gardens.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre specialises in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Britain’s orphaned, injured and sick wildlife. It is the only rescue centre in the South West that is open 24/7.

Our Pet & Reptile Centre will also be holding free ‘handle a pet’ sessions on Saturday, September 28th.

We’re inviting people to come and meet a variety of animals, including some guinea pigs, lizards and spiders. Visitors will get the chance to learn all about looking after them.

People will also be able to meet the Pet & Reptile Centre’s pet snake Penny.
