‘Blooming marvellous’ advice on winter colour

We’re hosting a Winter Bedding Weekend on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 to help people add a bit of colour to their gardens through the darker months.

Our winter bedding event is perfect for anyone looking to brighten up their garden with hanging baskets, tubs and containers.

Our bedding plant team will be giving people hints and tips on which bulbs, plants, compost and containers to use to achieve maximum effect.
 
There will be free advice sheets and leaflets for people to take home, while stocks last.

This is a great opportunity to come and see our experts at work and discuss any queries you may have. Our knowledgeable staff will be able to advise on lots of topics including what plants to use where, how to create colour schemes and how to water, feed and deadhead your baskets and containers too.

We can give tips on how to get the maximum colour in winter, including underplanting with spring flowering bulbs to extend the colour well into spring.
