Join our arts and crafts groups

Fancy getting creative? Our Craft Centre holds regular clubs and classes for both beginners and experienced crafters.

Crochet with Sally – every Friday (September 6, 13, 20 and 27) from 10am until 12.30pm. Crochet expert, Sally Wales will teach people about this wonderful craft. The class welcomes beginners and costs £13 per class or two sessions for £20.

Crochet Club – every Sunday (September 8, 15, 22 and 29) from 10.30am until 1pm. The club is for people who have some experience in crochet. Members will have the opportunity to crochet together, swap tips and ask for advice. It costs £5 per session.

Scrapbooking – every Thursday (September 5, 12, 19 and 26) from 3.30pm until 7.30pm. People can take along photographs and papers and use our machines. They will have the chance to swap tips and get help from others too. The club costs £3.50 per person for each session.

Knit Club – Wednesday, September 4 from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.

The club is open to anyone, whether you are an experienced knitter or are picking up needles for the first time. Each class costs £3 per person.

Pondside Knit Club – Wednesday, September 11 from 2pm until 4pm. This takes place in our Pondside Café. People who go along to one or more of the monthly sessions are asked to take their own knitting needles. Anyone without needles may be able to borrow some from the Craft Centre. Each session costs £3 per person.
