Get crafty Christmas ideas

Feeling festive? Our talented Craft Centre staff are hosting free Christmas craft demos every day from now until Christmas Eve.

Anyone can turn up to the Craft Centre at 2pm each day to get some creative gift ideas for Christmas.

We will be showing visitors how to make unique Christmas cards, decorations and presents and giving out free tips and advice.

Here are some of our faves…

Festive bunting

Using a pattern available for Noel Bunting, this pretty decoration is made from festive felts. It is stitched using a simple blanket stitch and stuffed for a 3D effect.

Christmas card

Using some of our lovely Christmas ribbons, you can make a fab Christmas tree card. It is a simple but effective festive greeting.

Treasure box

One of the Christmas gifts we’re demo-ing is a treasure box. It is made from wood but using embossed card and Gilding Wax to make it look like stamped metal. A unique keepsake pressie.

A member of our expert team will be at the demonstration bar to explain how to make one item each day. All craft materials can be purchased at the centre and we have how-to sheets for some of our festive ideas too.
