It’s tree time!

We’re hosting a Tree Weekend on Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th to coincide with National Tree Week.

During the weekend there will be an arboriculturalist and tree surgeon on-site to answer visitors’ questions as well as displays and information about selecting, growing and caring for trees.

The event covers all trees from apple to Christmas trees. For every tree bought, we will donate money to the Woodlands Trust so some more can be planted in community woods.

We will be providing complimentary advice on all tree-related matters during the event. Planting trees has become very popular again recently and anyone who wishes to learn more is welcome to come along to receive some tips on selecting, planting and caring for them.

Britain is one of the least tree-inhabited countries in Europe. National Tree Week helps to emphasise this fact and is the UK’s biggest annual tree celebration.

It is important that we plant more trees as they provide the habitat for so many of our native creatures. They are also vital in the fight against climate change.
