Santa ‘floats in’ for our festive evening
We’re
really excited to announce that Father Christmas
will be arriving aboard North Petherton Pentathlon Carnival Club’s ‘Wizard of
Oz’ themed float on Tuesday, November 19th at 5pm.
It’s
going to be a really magical evening with lots going on and youngsters will
have the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his grotto.
Clevedon
Brass Band will also be playing after Santa has arrived at 5pm until 7.30pm.
Everyone
is welcome at our free Christmas Open Evenings, which take place on November
19th, 20th and 21st from 5pm until 9pm.
On
Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21, concert pianist Giles Adams
will be playing a mixture of songs on his keyboard including some festive tunes
between 5pm and 8.30pm.
Apple County Chorus will also be performing on Wednesday, November 20
from 6pm until 7pm. The ladies group will sing a variety of Christmas songs plus others from
their repertoire.
Santa’s
grotto will be open from 5pm until 8pm each evening. A visit to meet him will
cost £6 per child and includes a present.
We
will be giving visitors a free mince pie and a complimentary glass of mulled
wine for those who are aged 18 and over, while stocks last.
There
will be chocolate and Christmas food tastings on offer each evening, as well as
beer and cider tastings for over 18s. Our Craft Centre will also be hosting
regular free demos for ‘a handmade Christmas’ including crafty gift ideas.
North
Petherton Pentathlon Carnival Club will be hosting a Grand Christmas Superdraw
during the Open Evenings. Entry costs £1 per ticket and the draw will take
place when either the 1,000th ticket has been sold or on December
20th. The winner will be picked at random and will receive £500 cash.
Traditional
Christmas dinner and Christmas pudding will be served in our Four Seasons Restaurant
between 5pm and 8pm. The two-course meal will cost £9.99 per person.
