Dear diary…today I made a spudtacular model

We’re inviting children to enter a potato modeling competition this month (February, 2014).

We’re asking them to create a potato model and submit a diary of the process before March 1st (2014) for our Spudtacular Models competition.

 We know that children love potato modeling, so as a part of our potato festival we thought it would be fun to hold the Spudtacular Models competition.

Instead of asking children to submit their model we are asking them to make a diary of the process and to bring this into the garden centre to enter.

The competition is open to children aged 13 and under and is free to enter. The winning diaries will receive a gardening kit including seed potatoes.

The Spudtacular Models competition is part of our free Potato Festival, which takes place from February 17th until 23rd. During the week, in-house experts will be offering advice to customers on varieties of potatoes to buy and grow and how to care for them to get the best yields.

Youngsters wishing to enter the free Spudtacular Models competition need to submit their diary to us before 5pm on March 1st (2014).
