Charity of the Year

We have selected Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) as our Charity of the Year for the eighth year running.

We will continue to support CHSW during the next 12 months with a variety of fundraising events.

Gill Brown, Chairwoman of the Bridgwater Friends of CHSW, said: “We have hosted fundraising events at Monkton Elm for many years and the team is always incredibly supportive so it is great to hear they want to continue the support for another year.”

CHSW is currently the only provider of specialist hospice care for children in the region. It offers much needed support for youngsters with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families.

We have really enjoyed working with CHSW during the last seven years so there was no question as to who we would be picking to support for the next 12 months.

Last year we supported the charity and along with our very generous customers helped raise more than £3,200 towards it. We’re hoping to beat that total this time around.
