Catch up on your crafts at Monkton Elm

Crafty residents in Somerset can dedicate some time to their craft projects by attending our next Craft Club on Monday, July 21.

Julia Langley, Craft Centre Supervisor at the independent, family-run garden centre, explained: “Sometimes it’s difficult for people to dedicate time to their craft work so our Craft Club is the perfect place for individuals to come and continue working on their projects.

“Anyone is welcome to bring their craft projects along to the centre and sit and work on them along with our staff and other attendees. It is a very relaxed club and people will have the opportunity to not only work on their projects but also swap tips and get help and inspiration from others.”

It will cost £5 per person for a full day at the Craft Club or £3 for a half day. The full day runs from 10am until 4.30pm or people can attend a half day between 10am and 1pm or 2pm and 4.30pm. The club runs fortnightly.

Julia added: “The Craft Club is always lots of fun and it is really interesting to see what everyone is working on. Our expert staff will be on-hand to help anyone out with their projects and give advice.”

People can call the garden centre to book a place or email the Craft Centre at crafts@monkton-elm.co.uk.
