Best In Show at Flower Show!

Special thanks to Redwood Stone (http://www.redwoodstone.co.uk) for lending us the monument

Our World War One memorial garden scooped a large gold medal and ‘Best in Show’ at this year’s Taunton Flower Show.

“We’re absolutely delighted with our win. The garden is a tribute to war heroes and features a memorial obelisk, donated by Redwood Stone, as well as traditional planting using hardy perennials, shrubs, bedding and David Austin roses.”

Anyone who would like to find out more about our display garden can come along to a free talk on the topic during our monthly Gardeners’ Group on August 5th.

Our Plant and Duty Manager, Andrew Pitman, will be discussing some of the themes and ideas, which were on display at the Taunton Flower Show and how people can apply them to their own gardens.

The session starts at 11am on Tuesday, August th5. Meet at our Pondside Café. The talk will last for approximately 45 minutes. The first 50 people to attend the talk will be offered the chance to take home a free one litre shrub from our starter range worth £3.99.
