Free advice on autumn planting

We’re inviting amateur gardeners to our Bulb and Autumn Open Week from September 22 until 28 to get free advice on autumn planting.

Autumn is already upon us and it is the perfect time to get out into the garden and plant spring flowering bulbs.

Anyone who is struggling with knowing what to plant and where to plant it is welcome to pop in and ask any of our expert staff for help. They’ll be able to recommend different bulbs suitable to your garden and instruct you on exactly how to plant them and where.

During the week we will be giving away free bags of Carlton daffodil bulbs worth £3.99 to loyalty card holders who spend £5 or more. People will need to present their loyalty card to the reception desk to claim the bulbs.

Visitors can also sign up to our free loyalty scheme throughout the week. Membership benefits include a discount scheme and special loyalty card member events throughout the year. There will also be a variety of special offers and clearance deals throughout the garden centre during the event.

We currently stock traditional favourites such as daffodils, tulips, crocus, hyacinth and snowdrops.

Loose hyacinths are now in too and prepared bulbs can be planted now for colour and scent at Christmas.
