Sapling reminder

Don’t forget, we’re giving away between 50 and 100 free young trees to schools and worthy causes this year.

If your school, charity, village organisation or community group is currently working on gardening projects then you can apply to us for the saplings.

We do have a limited number available and are allocating them on a first come, first served basis, so we urge you to submit requests as soon as possible. The closing date for requests is 5pm on Friday 20th February, 2015.

You will need to write in to us giving details of your project and why you think you deserve to receive a group of saplings.

The successful applicants will be invited to come and collect their trees from us at a mutually convenient time. By entering the giveaway, the winner or winners have agreed to take part in publicity.

Requests for the saplings should be posted to: Andrew Pitman, Store Manager, Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, Monkton Heathfield, Taunton, TA2 8QN.

As the saplings are fairly small they are ideal for areas and projects where they can be planted together in groups of around 50 or 100. They would be perfect for hedging or creating small woodland areas.
