Fun for youngsters in our new play area

As well as our brand new Elm Tree restaurant, our new children’s play area is officially open!

The area is a great way to keep youngsters occupied during the weekends and school holidays.

Why not come and visit us and stop for lunch in the restaurant while the children have a run about and stretch their legs on the new equipment?

The new area has been designed by Playline Design and includes a Toddlers’ Kingdom for youngsters aged from two until six, a Kingsacre Climber, suitable for children from three-years-old to 13-years-old as well as a Traverse wall and Timber Button Stools.

The Toddler’s Kingdom includes three towers linked together via a tunnel and wobbly bridge. There is also a slide, angled scramble net and a gripped climbing ramp.

The Kingsacre Climber is very impressive and consists of two large climbing towers linked via a tunnel and angled clatter bridge. There’s also a large slide, fireman’s pole, vertical wobbly ladder, angled scramble net, gripped climbing ramp and activity play panels.

The more adventurous children can also have a go on the five metre long timber Traverse wall, which has climbing grips attached. The entire play area is covered using a resin bonded, coloured rubber safety surface to keep knees and elbows cut and bruise-free.
