How do you use yours?

We want to know how you use your garden sheds and outbuildings.

We’ve recently seen a rise in sales of luxury sheds and outbuildings and them being used in non-traditional ways.

While some people still do use their shed in the traditional way to store their gardening equipment and tools, we are regularly hearing from customers about the different and non-traditional ways they’re using theirs.

Lots are now being used as ‘shedquarters’ and spaces where people can get away from it all. Many people have converted them into offices, art studios and even into spare rooms for guests. Buying a garden building for many people is a cheaper option and it can be easier to improve your home rather than move house.

The first records of garden sheds date back to medieval times, according to research. Many artists and writers such as John Betjeman have created masterpieces in their sheds.
