We’re officially the Best Destination Garden Centre in Wales and the West!

We are absolutely thrilled to have won the title of Best Destination Garden Centre in the Wales & West Region during the Garden Centre Association (GCA) regional awards.

The award for Best Garden Products Retailer was also presented to us!

The awards are decided by results of annual inspections by the GCA, which we are a member of. Our two Store Managers, Andrew Pitman and Steve Searle, would like to say a huge congratulations to all of the staff that make the garden centre what it is and who put in hours and hours of extremely hard work. We’d also like to congratulate all of the other winners from the event.

Winning the title of Best Destination Garden Centre is a testament to all of the hard work we have put in across the whole business in addition to the investment of our brand new restaurant, which opened in April this year. The almost 1000sqm building boasts state-of-the-art equipment, a modern coffee lounge, deli counter and juice bar and a self-service drinks area. It seats 350 people and offers the diners of Taunton a greater choice. Not only can customers visit us for all their gardening needs but they can now stop off, have a bite to eat and really make a day of it in relaxing surroundings.

We will now be re-inspected later in the year and will compete against Destination Garden Centres from other regions for the prestigious title of Destination Garden Centre of the Year, which will be announced during the GCA annual conference in January, 2016.
