Oh yes, it’s ladies’ night!
We’re hosting a ladies’ night on Thursday, December 10 from 6pm until 9.30pm in our new restaurant. We’ve invited businesses from across the South West who will be in attendance to talk to you about their organisations as well as offering free demos and tasters.
The wonderful Charlotte Murrant from Eden Flowers will be showing you how to create traditional shaped door wreaths using unusual techniques, which she used in her winning design at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Make-up and beauty fans can enjoy free demos and tasters of products from Julie from Julie’s Mobile Beauty. Rachel Hart will also be in attendance with a range of her Aloe Vera products to demo.
If you fancy learning the basics of make-up application then beautician Charlotte will be at the event demoing some Mary Kay products. Kerstin from Quantock Lavender Company will also be bringing along her beauty and toiletries products made from lavender.
Anyone looking for a little rest and relaxation should make their way over to Reflexologist Claire Fisher, who will be giving free 15 minute tasters on the night. Registered Homeopath Jacquie Haylett from Acorn Homeopathy will also be on-site offering demos.
Lyn Searle will also be here with her Neil’s Yard products and organic creams.
If you’re after a new look or just want to learn how to re-create hairstyles at home then pop over to see Hannah Parish from Hairlines who will be happy to chat to you.
Any brides-to-be coming along can pop over to Laura Batcha from the Sarah Hodge Bridal Creative Team’s stall as she will be happy to speak to you about your do for the big day. The lovely Lynn from Belle Amie Bridal will also be here with some of her gorgeous dresses.

There will be live swing music from the Tone Big Band on the night and you can get fashion tips from Retail Therapy Ltd and see models showcasing its designs.
You will also be able to see a range of clothing from Anila Preston and the British Alpaca Fashion Company.
For the more active among you or those that want to get active in the New Year, Vicky Henderson from Quantock Equestrian will be on-site with a range of horse riding accessories and Amanda Hawkin from Breeze Bike Rides will be in attendance for anyone interested in joining her ladies’ bicycle club.
Representatives from Taunton Leisure will also be here to give you any advice on getting active, they’ll also be bringing along clothing and equipment for running, camping and walking.
If that wasn’t enough, representatives from Somerset Activity Sports Partnership will also be here to chat to you about its This Girl Can campaign and to encourage lots of you to take up a new sporty hobby.
There is something to suit everyone and we hope lots of you come along and bring your friends too. Any men looking for Christmas gifts for their loved ones won’t be turned away.
