Countdown to Christmas in an organised way this year

 

In the run up to the festivities, there are lots and lots and lots of jobs to be done. Follow our great guide and stay ahead of the game this year.

• Have a Christmas pad and keep it somewhere handy for jotting things down in. You can also make lists on your tablet or mobile.
• Buy gifts well in advance. It’s a good idea to get these wrapped ready for when the tree goes up so they can be popped straight under it. We have lots of Christmas gifts in store so pop in and have a browse.
• Remember to buy your live Christmas tree – we have a superb range to choose from including the non-needle drop Nordman. All live trees will need watering so buy a self-watering stand for cut trees. A can of Spray ‘N’ Save will also help prevent needle loss. We have a huge range of lights and decorations too.

• Make sure you stock up on food well in advance. We have a great range of foodie items available in-store.
• It’s a good idea to plan for the tree to go up the week before the big day. This is a particularly good idea if you have young ones in the house and need to keep their excitement contained a little.
• To add a bit of festive colour to your home, make ribbon bows and attach to the top of a bauble for the tree, this way you can change the colour scheme without having the expense of changing the whole lot.
• A week or so before the big day give the house a deep clean, especially if you have visitors arriving.
