Top tips for decorating your Christmas tree

 

We love decorating our in-store Christmas trees for our festive displays and thought we’d share our top tips on creating the perfect tree.
 
If you’re using an artificial tree then make sure to fluff out the branches and turn out the ends in order to make it look as realistic as possible.

Start off by choosing a theme or colour scheme.

If you are using lights then these need to go on the tree first. Once they are up, plug them in and switch them on so you can see the overall balance of the tree.

When you come to the other decorations, start with one type of bauble and hang them in a zig-zag pattern.

Once you’ve finished with the baubles, hang any special decorations you may want to use.

All the time you are decorating take a step back from the tree so that you can get a real feel for the overall effect.
