Meet our restaurant team

  

Say ‘hello’ to our restaurant team. They’re a lovely, smiley group and they make some fantastic breakfasts, lunches, cakes and teas! Heading them up is Denis, who is originally from Ainay Le Chateau in France.

Denis studied cookery at the Lycée Professionnel Jean Guéhenno in Saint Amand Montrond and went on to continue his studies at the Lycée Jacques Coeur in Bourges.

Sally Sparks is Front of House and makes sure everything is running smoothly.

Customers can choose from a range of seasonal, hot food as well as cold lunches such as sandwiches, quiches and fresh salads. We have a deli counter and a juice bar and vegetarian and gluten-free dishes available too.

The restaurant serves afternoon teas with delicious homemade cakes and gateaux, as well as freshly baked rustic scones made daily by our team of talented chefs including Tom Elton, who is a well-known and loved member of the group. We also serve a range of coffees, including lattes and cappuccinos.

We have a family-friendly seating area near the doors opening out to our new play area. You can also sit outside near the play area on our terrace. A children’s menu is available either from the kid’s corner where they can make up their own cold lunch box or from our main kitchen where they can have any of our daily dishes only smaller portion. The pick ‘n’ mix lunch box includes a sandwich, drink and a choice of three other items from £3.99.

We get to know a lot of the regular customers and groups who meet up at least once a month because of our warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our state-of-the-art Elm Tree Restaurant is open seven days a week from 9am until 5pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday and Saturday, and from 10.15am until 4.15pm Sunday. On Thursday the restaurant is open from 9am until 7pm.
