Planning a party in your garden this summer?

We’re offering free advice on how to have everything from a party for friends and family to an intimate dinner for two in your garden this summer.

We’ve got lots of products in stock to help the celebrations go without hitch including BBQs, furniture, traditional and unusual beers and ciders, gift foods and snacks, garden lighting and even picnic baskets for those planning on eating away from home.

At last it’s time to get out in the garden, deck it out with bunting, drag out the garden furniture and dust off the BBQ.

If you are planning a garden party start by creating a list. What do you need? Decorations, pots of flowers, furniture and food will probably be at the top of the list.

Take a look at the selection of pre-planted tubs and hanging baskets we have in stock for that instant hit of colour, whether you aim for patriotic red, white and blue to mark Her Majesty, The Queen’s official birthday in June or more muted pinks and whites.

We stock a whole host of bunting and party fare. Perfect to get you in the party mood. We also have a good range garden lighting, including some solar powered ones, so you can extend your partying into the night.

You can either host a traditional British BBQ or a tea party with jelly and ice cream, jam and scones, finger sandwiches and butterfly or fairy cakes. Our cook and book shops might be just the place for you to buy the items you need and to get the inspiration for your menu.

You can even drink to the nation’s health with one of our British-brewed beers or Westcountry ciders. Our gift food range includes lots of traditional treats including jams and relishes.

Make sure your garden furniture is in tip top condition and you have enough seats and tables for all your guests. Also check your cushions and seat pads are not looking tired and tatty. Everyone likes a comfy seat so if any need to be replaced pop in and see what we have to offer, we’ve got lots of seat pads in stock that are great value for money.
