Pots of pleasure

With the evenings now longer and brighter, you will want to make use of and enjoy your garden this month.
  
If you have a patio and it is well planned and planted, it’s a great extension to your home. 

Next month is a busy one in the garden with many tasks to occupy you, from cutting the lawn regularly to hoeing the vegetable plot and borders – and perhaps picking some of your first fruits.

The one real plus about any patio is that it is ideal for masses of pots of colourful summer flowers.

These pots can then be extended through the winter and into spring with bulbs and winter bedding to give you longer lasting pleasure.

Do remember to water every morning and evening during hot periods and remove dead flowers to help stimulate new blooms.
