Somerset families invited to our free Christmas open evenings
Somerset families are invited to join us in the festivities at our two Christmas open evenings on November 23 and 24 from 4pm until 8pm with live entertainment, food sampling and the chance to see festive displays.
Everyone who comes along will be welcomed with a free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.
Members of the Shooting Stars Pantomime Company, including founding member Nigel Ford as Widow Twanky, will be attending on both evenings dressed in their costumes from their upcoming show, Aladdin.
You will be able to meet the cast and take photos with them as well as find out more about their panto show. They will also be collecting funds for Selworthy School during both evenings.
The Lazy River Swing band will be performing a selection of swing standards and Christmas carols on November 23 from 4pm and the Taunton Concert Band will entertain the crowds with some Christmas tunes on November 24 from 4pm.
There will be a two course Christmas dinner and pudding served in the restaurant from 4pm until 7.30pm for £9.99 per person.
You will also get the chance to see our fantastic Christmas displays, which are our best yet. It’s also a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done as we have a huge variety of gifts in stock. You can download a special invitation from our website www.monktonelmgardencentre.co.uk to bring along with you to the evenings to receive a free stylish ceramic Scheurich Pot and 10% off Christmas decorations, lights, scenes and artificial trees. The invitation will also be available at the till points.
