As last month’s juicing demo was such a hit we’ve decided to host another one for those of you on a health kick and wanting to learn more about the benefits of juicing.

If you’re a fan of all creatures great and small then we’re inviting you to come along to our Wildlife Weekend on 25th & 26th July from 10am until 4pm.

We’ve decided to celebrate everything great about summer during two open evenings, which will include live music, barbecues and displays, on Wednesday 8th July and Thursday 9th July from 4pm until 8pm.

We’re spicing things up a bit at our next Gardeners’ Group on Tuesday, July 7 at 11am.

Once you’ve purchased or planted up your baskets and patio pots follow our simple hints and tips to keep them looking good all summer long.

Water is one of the most fascinating and relaxing elements that you can incorporate into your garden.

Patio pots are a great way of brightening up a dull patch and will flower for a lengthy time with very little attention. 

If you want to treat your Dad to a day out this Father’s Day (Sunday, June 21, 2015) then come along to see a selection of vintage vehicles being displayed in our car park from 11am until 3pm.

If you’re health-conscious and interested in learning more about the benefits of juicing, then come along to our free demo in our new restaurant on Tuesday, June 30 from 10am with Mark Summers from Robot Coupe, the juicer manufacturer.

We’re championing all things British throughout June and are offering free advice on patriotic planting, special offers and displays of British plants.

Everyone wants a lovely lawn at this time of year ready for that outdoor entertaining you’re planning. Here are a few expert tips to help get your lawn into good order:

Did you know that our new restaurant includes a large chargrill area for our chefs? You can watch as items are cooked to order right in the centre of our new ‘theatre’ hotplate. Choose from a selection of local meat produce from Pynes of Somerset, such as butterfly chicken breast, Peri-Peri chicken, pork chop with green peppercorn sauce, a selection of burgers, gammon steaks and speciality sausages. All of which are cooked freshly to order and available on any non-carvery days  (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11am-3.30pm and Thursday evenings from 4.30pm-7pm). If you have received a copy of our June E-News (sign up at http://tiny.cc/elmenews before June 20 th to get your copy) then there will be a voucher attached to come and see us on any Thursday evening in June and enjoy 2 chargrill main courses for £10. *Please note that all grill items are subject to availability.  

This month we have Mark Summers a representative from the juicing machine manufacturer ‘Robot Coupe’ coming in to give a free juicing demonstration at the juice bar in our new restaurant.  Mark will be teaching people the healthy benefits of juicing, which fruits and vegetables work best and what type of machine to use. The session starts at 10am and is on Tuesday 30 th June. If this proves to be popular then we have pencilled in a second date of the 14 th July for another demo. Are you a keen crocheter? If you want to socialise with other likeminded crafters or get tips and inspiration for future projects then why not come along to our Sunday Crochet Clubs? The clubs take place every Sunday throughout June from 10.30am until 1pm and cost £5 per person. We’d definitely recommend coming along as they’re a great way to meet new people and swap tips. Our experienced craft team will be on-hand to help anyone out but please note, you should have a good knowledge of crochet before coming along.
