The fab folks at Children’s Scrapstore Taunton will be hosting free Valentines-themed craft activities in our Elm Tree restaurant on Monday, February 13 from 10am until 2pm.

If you’re a fan of all creatures great and small then we’re inviting you to come along to our Wildlife Weekend on 25th & 26th July from 10am until 4pm.

We’re inviting you to come and watch Father Christmas arrive by reindeer and sleigh and enjoy complimentary festive entertainment too.

To celebrate Halloween, we are giving the children the chance to create a pumpkin lantern, in our seasonal covered area from Saturday 25 th October until Friday 31 st October.

Wildlife lovers are being invited to meet a variety of animals, birds, reptiles and industry representatives during a Wildlife Weekend at our Pet Centre on Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th.

Representatives and animals from Reprobates South West will be in our Pet & Reptile Centre for our free Handle a Pet event on Saturday, June 7th from 10am until 4pm.

Join us on Saturday 7th June when we will have the wonderful reptile experts from “Reprobates South West” in store to show off their snakes and lizards.

We’re inviting youngsters to search the garden centre for treasure, from Monday 7 th April until Easter Monday 21 st April.

Rosa’s Animal Roadshow allows children and adults alike to get up close and personal with some of the most common pets as well as some less common ones. Rosa will be going through all the pros and cons of owning animals to help people answer the question “is this animal right for me?” 

Families looking for Easter-themed activities to take part in can go on a treasure hunt at Monkton Elm during the Easter holidays.

We’re really excited to announce that Father Christmas will be arriving aboard North Petherton Pentathlon Carnival Club’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ themed float on Tuesday, November 19th at 5pm.

We are hosting a woolly weekend on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th complete with alpacas, knitting workshops and a spinner .

As part of the school summer holidays, we will be hosting a Children’s Fun Week. This involves a workshop for 7-12 year old's each day, from Monday, August 5th until Sunday, August 11th in a dedicated fun area near our reception. 

We’re holding a Wildlife Weekend on July 27 and 28 from 10am until 4pm to give anyone interested in nature the chance to learn more.

Our Father’s Day activities last month went down terrifically well with all involved.

This month we are really busy starting work on our Taunton Flower Show display. The event is at Vivary Park in Taunton on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3. Why not come along?
