We are finalists!

We’re really pleased to announce that we are finalists in not one but three Somerset Business Awards.

We are through to the final three for the following categories: Business of the Year (51+ employees), Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year and our Craft Advisor, Chloe Heilbronn, for Young Business Employee of the Year.

Our Managing Director, Mike Lind, said: “We are all absolutely thrilled to have been announced as finalists for three categories in the Somerset Business Awards.

“This is all down to great team work and spirit. We’ve got a tremendous team here at Monkton Elm and they are a real credit to the business.”

We were awarded the Albert Goodman Family Business Award at the Somerset Business Awards in 2012.

Our Craft Advisor, Chloe, who is in the running to become Young Business Employee of the Year, said: “I’m delighted to be a finalist for the award. Working in the Craft Centre has been a great way for me to get hands-on experience in the industry.

“I’ve been able to develop my knowledge of crafts considerably and learn from expert crafters who run workshops at the centre. I really enjoy advising customers, getting to know the regulars and seeing their latest creations.”
