Enter our GBF competition to be in with a chance of winning £25 each week

Each week in November (2016) we’re going to being running a competition for our Twitter followers and Facebook fans.

All you need to do is guess where our gingerbread family are each week, from Monday to Friday during November only, using the photos we will post on our social media feeds to be in with a chance of winning one of five £25 Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre vouchers.

Every week in November we’ll take a snap of our gingerbread family and if you guess where they are in #Somerset that week you could win yourself a £25 voucher.

Our gingerbread family will be photographed at different landmark locations in the area every Monday in November and we’ll post the pictures on our social media (Twitter and Facebook) so you can guess where they are and win the £25 voucher for that particular week. We will do this for the five weeks of November, which overlap slightly with October at the start and December at the end.

On the Monday of each week we will post the photograph clue as to where our gingerbread family are and we will use the hashtag #GBF throughout the week. Every day until Friday each week we’ll zoom out further on the photograph to help give you further visual clues so you can send us your entry by 12noon on the Friday. The same process will be repeated during the five-week period.

Why have we got a gingerbread family? At weekends in November and December they will be back at the garden centre and be part of our Christmas displays and live near our grotto. Each year we raise thousands of pounds for our chosen charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) with our grottoes.

This year we’re also hoping raise some money with assistance of our gingerbread family. If you’d like to have your photo taken with our gingerbread family – pop in any weekend in the run up to Christmas and they will be here in store. If you are taking any selfies or snaps, please make a donation to CHSW in the collection boxes provided and also use the #GBF if you post your pictures to social media and we’ll do our very best to re-tweet and share as many as we can.

All you have to do to enter our weekly competition is check out the photos we post throughout the week from Monday to Friday and email competitions@monkton-elm.co.uk or direct message us with your full name, contact telephone number and email address, and your guess as to where you think our gingerbread family are, to be in with a chance of winning.

We will be running a different location competition each week in November, for a five-week period, starting on October 31, 2016 so you could be in with a chance of winning £25 if you guess correctly each week during the month.

Each week the competition will close at 12noon on the Friday. The following week’s competition will open on the Monday at 8am.

The winner each week will be picked at random from all the correct entries submitted.

Terms and conditions are as follows:

1. The five weeks of the competition are as follows: October 31 to November 4, November 7 to 11, November 14 to 18, November 21 to 25 and November 28 to December 2, 2016
2. The closing time and date of each week’s competition will be 12noon UK time on the Friday of each week
3. The following week’s giveaway (until the final week of November, 2016) will open on the Monday at 8am
4. This competition is open to UK residents only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre (Promoter), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter
5. All you need to do to enter is to send your guess for the location where the gingerbread family are each week to competitions@monkton-elm.co.uk or to direct message us via social media with your guess. You may enter once every week. Your details will not be kept for any other purpose
6. No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this competition
7. The winners will be chosen at random and notified on the Friday of each week after 12noon by email or social media
8. Each week there will be one winner only, selected at random, regardless of how they entered
9. The winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries
10. The garden centres’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
11. No alternatives can be offered in place of the prizes
12. The winners will be contacted via social media or email
13. If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after 28 days by Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, the garden centre will be entitled to select an alternative winner from among the entrants
14. Any entry that does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre. The garden centre is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery
15. Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness
